MicGuard does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The app runs entirely on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no network calls, and no telemetry of any kind.
MicGuard monitors your macOS audio input devices using the system CoreAudio framework. It reads the list of available input devices and can change the default input device. All of this happens locally on your Mac.
Your device priority list and preferences are stored in your local UserDefaults. This data never leaves your device.

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
As we do not collect any personal data, there is no data to access, correct, or delete. If you have contacted us via email, you may request deletion of that correspondence at hello@usespoke.app.
MicGuard is not directed at children under the age of 16.
